I want to send a huge shout out to Nakoma Roofing & Construction! Friday morning we noticed shingles in our front yard, after looking around our house we saw we were missing shingle going up the back peak of our roof. I reached out to Nilva to see if I could schedule an appointment to have them come and check it out. She had someone come out that afternoon to inspect the roof. They gave us a quote and were out this afternoon to fix our roof!! Thank you so much Nilva and team for your quick response and quality work!!!

Nakoma Roofing installed my roof a few years ago and does an annual inspection to fix problems before they cause issues. They are very responsive, document their work with photos, and don't leave any kind of mess. I am satisfied.

The purpose of homeowners insurance, like other types of insurance, is to get you back to status-quo if an unexpected loss occurs. You pay a monthly or yearly premium in exchange for their promise to put you back where you were before the loss.

In other words, you can’t make a profit off your insurance company.

That’s why, when a car is totaled, they’ll only pay what the car was worth at the time of the crash and not what you paid for it when it was new.

Now when it comes to homeowners insurance, you can opt for what’s called “replacement cost” coverage.

With replacement cost coverage, the insurance company is obligated to replace your roof at today’s cost, not just pay what your old roof was worth.

A roof loan is a personal loan you use to pay for a roof repair or replacement. This type of loan is funded all at once and then repaid, with interest, in fixed monthly installments.

Roof loan amounts are between $1,000 and $100,000 and annual percentage rates range from 6% to 36%. Repayment terms are typically two to seven years.

These loans are unsecured, meaning there is no collateral for the loan. Instead, a lender reviews your credit and finances to decide whether to offer you a loan and at what APR.

In general, the roof of an average residence (3,000 square feet or less) can be replaced in a day. In extreme cases, it could take three to five days. Depending on the weather, complexity, and accessibility of your home it could even take up to three weeks.

Actually, no. Corrugated metal panels (like our ABM Panel) often cost as much as 20% less per square than asphalt shingles. Before you get too excited though, remember that a metal roof requires more accessories like screws, flashing, and ridge caps. With the accessories included, a metal roof can cost about the same as, or within a few hundred dollars of, a shingle roof on an average home. And considering that our premium and standard metal panels come with 40-year paint warranties (with many metal roofs even lasting over 100 years with proper maintenance), the savings over time makes metal a smarter choice.
